I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Vanderbilt University exploring the potential of AI in leveraging instructional leadership create more meaningful professional learning experiences for teachers.
My work as an education policy researcher focuses on how policy shifts and evolving organizational contexts impact educators and students. I use quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches to investigate the intersection of educational policy and educator labor markets, with a particular emphasis on teacher and school leader career pathways.
I leverage administrative data sets, survey data, and interview data to investigate educator labor markets in Pre-K-5 spaces. My dissertation research explored the labor market responses to the inclusion of Pre-K into elementary schools and the experiences of teachers and leaders in these spaces.
I received my PhD from the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations at Vanderbilt University in 2026. Before beginning my studies at Vanderbilt, I taught elementary school in Boston and New Orleans.
